This morning my cello banjo, sitar and I put our heads together and came up with a little improvisation. It’s what I imagine hoedown music might sound like twenty thousand leagues under the sea, at midnight, recorded on a waterpod.

I’m playing a Hiren Roy sitar I got in India 45 years ago, and a Gold Tone 4-string cello banjo, CEB-4, tuned CFCG – low to high.

There’s a fun thread on this piece at Banjo Hangout:

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”  Henry David Thoreau
